The Kieslect Aktör‘s ceramic bezel carries the passage of time and witnesses Kieslect’s craftsmanship spirit. Let’s uncover the story behind it and embark on a journey of challenge, perseverance, and innovation together.
Ceramic Characteristics Determine the Process’s Difficulty
Developing the ceramic bezel presented challenges due to its thinness and temperature sensitivity. After 152 high-temperature tests, each for 28 hours long, Kieslect precisely controlled the temperature to maintain the bezel’s shape and flatness. Post-injection molding, the ceramic was kiln-fired at 1500 HV for 60 hours, followed by over 100 meticulous processes, resulting in a bezel with hardness rivaling diamonds.
Laser Polishing Creates Art
Given the high hardness and chemical stability of ceramics, Kieslect utilized a complex laser processing technique, polishing each bezel for 595 seconds. This not only gives the bezel a three-dimensional effect but also significantly boosts its glossiness.
Exploration and Regression of Colors
In terms of the bezel’s color, based on thousands of users’ dressing needs, hundreds of experiments have been conducted. Finally, Kieslect decided to return to simplicity and opted for a classic black-white bezel to showcase its unique personality and taste in a low-key manner.
The lengthy wait and meticulous polishing have endowed the Kieslect Actor ceramic bezel with an unparalleled texture, which also reinforced Kieslect’s determination to continously strive for excellence in creating outstanding products.
