Elevating the standards of wearable technology, the Kieslect Actor introduces a luxurious ceramic bezel—a first for Kieslect—masterfully combining elegant design with exceptional durability. For the Kieslect Actor, the ceramic bezel is not merely a design element; it represents the peak of craftsmanship. Its exquisite, high-gloss appearance adds a touch of luxury to your wrist. With an impressive hardness rating of 1500HV—nearly as hard as diamond—the ceramic bezel far outperforms titanium alloy (300HV), stainless steel (210HV), and zinc alloy (100HV). This extraordinary durability makes it highly resistant to scratches and wear, ensuring it retains its beautiful luster for over a decade. Moreover, the ceramic material is engineered to avoid interference from metal on satellite signals, guaranteeing precision positioning with an accuracy of up to 0.6 meters.
Meticulous Craftsmanship
Creating the ceramic bezel is complex and time-consuming, reflecting Kieslect’s efforts to fulfill its commitment to customer first and quality priority. Micron-grade ceramic powder is placed in a 1500HV high-temperature kiln for 60 hours to be transformed into ceramic. From raw material to the final product, the creation of each bezel involves up to 140 precise steps, resulting in a diamond-like bezel.
However, the bezel’s high-gloss surface, while stunning, is prone to smudging with even the slightest touch, which can affect its beautiful apperance. To combat this, artisans conducted hundreds of tests, ultimately applying a durable and effective German BASF anti-fingerprint coating. Finally, after production, each bezel undergoes rigorous testing, including shock and salt Fog tests, to ensure it meets Kieslect’s exacting standards.
High-end Design of Ceramic Bezel
The design inspiration for the ceramic bezel is drawn from a compass, with its colors and font sizes meticulously refined through multiple iterations. After carefully reviewing and refining over forty proposals, the final design was selected. The result is an exquisite ceramic bezel that seamlessly blends fashion with athletic style, now brought to life in the Kieslect Actor.
